The art of managing migraines begins with knowing yourself and your symptoms. This diary is an effective tool because the information you record about your migraine headache can help you and your doctor manage the next one better and learn to prevent future attacks.

You'll need to be aware of when your migraine headache started and when it stopped, the symptoms that occurred before, during, and after the headache, any triggers that you're aware of, and any other information you think can help your doctor. You may also want to make copies of this diary so you have them on hand for the future.
